about

Hey there! I'm Hasan Shoaib. At the core, I'm a problem solver. I like sales, programming, reading, listening to podcasts, spirituality, tech, and good conversations. I also really like good food—my favourite dessert is cheesecake.

I was born in the UAE, and when I was little, my family moved to Norway for a few years. I have so many memories from there. The serenity, the peacefulness, the cleanliness, the weather, the snowfall—it was spectacular. I guess everybody feels that way about their childhood. Mine is probably no exception.

Reading

Most people who know me know that I'm an avid reader. I read a lot. Reading was always my thing since I was 8 or 9. I started with short stories and encyclopedias. My favourite author at the time was Enid Blyton—she had a good taste in writing. The stories were short, funny, morally fulfilling, and imaginative.

I then moved on to the adventure genre with The Famous Five, Horrid Henry, and later The Hardy Boys. I've read well over 100 books at this point. I then graduated to proper YA—Alex Rider, Department 19 (in my top 3!), and more.

What I'm up to

I'm working on various projects, launching a YouTube channel soon, and documenting my journey here on this blog. If you want to connect, feel free to reach out.
